Virg`s in Ogden

I had the Bleu Explosion burger, and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a very long time. The service was excellent and prompt, too. A little pricey, but well worth the expense. I definitely recommend trying them out if you're in the area and looking for a good meal.

Went with a group of co-workers and we all loved our food. We had the 2 pancake breakfast, country breakfast, pastrami burger and incinerator burger. I recommend going here and it's not over priced.

I always have a lovely experience at Virg's. The food is fresh and you never walk away hungry. Our servers are always pleasant and professional. My children are in amazement over the enormous corn dogs. You just can't go wrong stopping in!

Great food and the staff is friendly and very helpful. It has the old time diner feel and is very laid back and not rushed at all. A great place to stop and get breakfast all day or the fish and chips are very good as well. It could use a few repairs an maintenance, the bathroom is pretty worn out but clean that's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

I worked at the original Virg's on 3500 So. in the early 70's! I was always so proud of our fish-n-chips. Flaky and delicious. Today I had takeout at the Harrison location. So disappointing. The fish was rock hard, over fried, and very dark, like old oil. Please bring the yummy fish-n-chips back!

If you come you , you need to be A. Hungry (huge portions) B like home style cooked meals . Love this place any time of the day for any meal!! Totally different and better than franchise restaurants where meals arrive from headquaretes in a box!! Breakfast is amazing but I also love their burritos and many other choices for lunch or dinner!! If you try this place you will be back!!

Went to Virg's tonight and got dinner. I got the Hot Roast Beef, my husband got the Chicken Fried Steak and the grandkids got the kids meal cheeseburgers. Our dinners were soo good! My roast beef was the best I've gotten in a very long time! We love Virg's and it's dinners like tonight that keep us coming back. Thanks Virg's for an amazing meal!

This is a great place for comfort food. I had the chicken fried steak and my wife had the meatloaf. The chicken fried steak was crispy and delicious. The gravy and potatoes had great flavor. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. I will be back.

Best dive in Utah. Tons of food for pennies. Great food and piles of it. When the bill comes you'll think they forgot to charge you for half the order.

My brother recommended we stop here for breakfast because he had been here in the past and said they had good food. He wasn’t lying. I ordered the special burrito. The big version. I swear the burrito was the size of a newborn baby. The burrito was awesome. Everything they packed inside was fresh and delicious. I was only able to eat half for breakfast but was able to finish it off for lunch. I can’t wait to go back and get another one.

Truly old time comfort food and then some. Fantastic old time atmosphere that brings back alot if good memories. The portions are huge like the Greek diner's in the New York City area. The portions here are huge! If you leave Virg's hungry, you did something wrong. We fed my family of 5 for $80, which included tip. Service was friendly and fast despite the restaurant being slammed, and all our food was excellent and arrived hot. Eight mozzarella sticks in an order instead of the usual five. All around very satisfied!

Excellent as always. Our favorite is the Chili Relleno omelet with chili verde sauce! Substitute fruit cup and cottage cheese for sides!

The food was okay here, better than the service. We were acknowledged to seat ourselves when we walked in, but then sat so long without anyone coming by that we eventually got up and grabbed our own menus. It took a minute to find a booth where the pleather coverings weren't all torn up. The server finally came over and was like "oh you already have menus?" She paid that much attention to us. And instead of taking our order or asking if we were ready to order, she walked away, and passed by our table 4 more times saying "I'll be right back" before actually taking our order. I got the green chile enchiladas, but I have more fingers on one hand than pieces of green chile in the two enchiladas on my plate. The refried beans were watery, and the lettuce was not fresh. Not exactly the best Utah has to offer as it proclaims to be. The kitchen, service, and the decor all need a major rework.

Not sure what the deal with this place is...Attempted to go here a couple weeks ago and they were closed. The great big sign outside stated that they were open for takeout and there was a big orange OPEN sign in the window. It was early evening and we'll within their posted hours.Now, tried to phone in an order this evening and nobody is picking up the phone, despite being within their posted hours... Again...Guess I just won't attempt to give them my money anymore. I've got better things to do than chase around a business that can't take the time to post updated hours, take their open sign out of the window when they're actually closed, answer their phones (if they're actually open), or whatever their problem is.Plenty of other local options that will happily take our money

Food and service was excellent. Need to up grade restaurant ( remodel) but I was very impressed. Will definitely return for more.

This place is amazing the food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The portions of food they serve are gigantic. Trust me you won't be dissatisfied at all. I had the breakfast burrito it was delicious and very satisfying. I will definitely be coming back and I will recommend this place to everyone I know.

The food is very good. You should never walk away hungry! Very friendly and polite service. I recommend you go there you'll be glad you did. Prices are very fair. It is pastime however, that they do some repairs to their facility. Some of the benches are getting tore up and the signs are not lighted. Restrooms could also use some attention.

Great atmosphere, loved our server, just wasn't a fan of the biscuits and gravy I ordered. Everything else was like I'd expect.

Classic American diner, with much better than expected food! It's 4:30am and I'm awake, dreaming of their cheesy scrambled eggs they whipped up on the side of my French toast. Mmm yum. 🤤 Their staff is friendly and helpful, and it's a very pleasant environment. A new favorite, please never close!

The workers were very friendly and we had a lot of fun interacting with them throughout our visit. I love that they have so many varieties of fries or tater tots as sandwich sides. They come with a side of good ol' Utah fry sauce or ketchup to dip in. The food was flavorful and not bland. They had good portion sizes and the food was good quality. Overall, it was a good experience.
